NightRush could have delivered an excellent online gaming experience if it weren’t for a couple of significant issues.

It had many qualities we’d expect from a top-tier casino. We were particularly impressed with its impeccable responsible gambling tools, round-the-clock support and a library of over 3,000 games from top providers.

Unfortunately, some aspects of NightRush failed to meet our expectations. We observed a worrying pattern of delayed payments in online reviews, and live support wasn't always able to help.

Although NightRush’s closure was regrettable for many, it was a welcome development for those who had faced stress during the withdrawal process.

Did NightRush offer a welcome bonus?

New players could claim the ‘Golden Ticket Welcome Package’. This was a three-part welcome offer including up to €333 in bonuses. This offer was split across three deposits, which meant it wasn’t the most straightforward to claim.

High rollers could claim the ‘Platinum Ticket Welcome Package’, which followed a similar structure and offered free spins.

What were the terms & conditions of this bonus?

The NightRush welcome bonus was split over your first three deposits:

  • 1st deposit: 100% deposit match up to €111

  • 2nd deposit: 50% up to €111

  • 3rd deposit: 50% up to €111

Each deposit had to be a minimum of €10 to claim this promotion.

The enhanced welcome offer could be claimed as follows:

  • 1st deposit: 100% deposit match up to €111 plus 100 free spins

  • 2nd deposit: 50% up to €111 plus 100 free spins

  • 3rd deposit: 50% up to €111 plus 100 free spins

Players had to deposit at least €50 at each stage to claim this offer. Since the only difference between the two is free spins, NightRush wasn’t one of the best bonus casinos for high rollers.

Free spins could be claimed on a choice of five games:

  • Book of Dead

  • Fire Joker

  • Big Win Cat

  • Legacy of Dead

  • Sweet Alchemy

They would be credited in increments of 20 per day.

Both packages carried 45x wagering requirements, which had to be completed within 14 days. Free spins had to be wagered 45x within seven days.

Expert tip

The 45x wagering requirement was a little higher than the industry standard (35x). The NightRush welcome bonus wasn’t the most competitive offer at the time, especially considering the two-week wagering window.

Other bonuses that were offered

NightRush offered a broad array of bonuses, including:

  • Weekend top-up

  • Free spins on Wednesdays

  • Daily casino no deposit free spins

  • Loot boxes

Players could unlock various perks by signing up for the NightRush email club.

NightRush offered a seven-tier VIP programme where players could gain benefits such as higher withdrawal limits. Users would earn one ‘Loyalty Point’ per €100 they played on slots. Reaching 100 LPs would grant players ‘Orange’ status, where their points could be redeemed for bonuses.

Where was NightRush available?

NightRush was licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) to operate in multiple territories.

A number of games could not be played in certain countries. Full restrictions could be found in the NightRush terms and conditions.

How safe & trustworthy was NightRush?

NightRush was licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) under licence number MGA/B2C/394/2017 (issued on 01/08/2018). This information was listed in the footer.

The MGA offers one of the most reputable iGaming licences on the market. However, despite the strength of its licence, we found many reports regarding issues such as delayed payments.

Safety and security

The NightRush website was protected with TLS encryption, which kept players’ personal and financial information safe from attacks.

KYC and withdrawals

Like all licensed online casinos, NightRush reserved the right to carry out Know Your Customer (KYC) checks on all players. This was to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and the requirements of its MGA licence.

Verification was mandatory once cumulative withdrawals exceeded €2,000. Requested information could include:

  • A selfie with an ID card and a specific symbol

  • A phone call

We found multiple reports of delayed withdrawals at NightRush casino, which put some off from making further deposits.

What other players & reviewers said

NightRush received mixed reviews throughout its years in operation. Here’s what people said online:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“I deposited 30 CAD and wagered there 40 x the bonus amount. As long as you have verification ready especially when depositing via Interac as they will request proof of deposit all will be good. They have super fast withdrawals and a good selection of game. It’s all luck at the end of the day. But they did everything very quickly and all is very positive.”

“Long withdrawal times, discarding cashouts without any reason, no ability to escalate any issues. The support copying pasting answers and doesn’t take any initiative other than saying be patience. Run away!”

Games at NightRush

Clocking in at over 3,000 games, NightRush had a game library that rivalled the best online casinos at the time. These included popular slots like Book of Dead and games across the following categories:

  • Video poker

  • Table games

  • Slots

  • Live casino

  • Jackpot games

The NightRush live casino hosted multiple roulette, blackjack and baccarat tables.

Game providers

NightRush offered games from 32 top providers, including NetEnt, Play’n GO, Microgaming, Red Tiger and Playtech.

RTP transparency

Return To Player (RTP) is a theoretical percentage of how much a slot game should return over an extended period of time.

There is no publicly available information regarding RTP at NightRush, but players could have viewed this information within the game settings.

Available payment methods

NightRush accepted payments in seven currencies: EUR, USD, CAD, NZD, NOK, PLN and ZAR.

The availability of payment methods varied by territory. Visa payments, for instance, were unavailable in some countries.

The minimum withdrawal at NightRush was €20 or your currency’s equivalent. The maximum withdrawal would vary by method, and requests that exceeded the limit would be paid out in instalments. All progressive jackpot winnings would be paid out in full.

NightRush aimed to process withdrawals within 24 hours, but the time it took to reach your account would vary depending on the payment method.

Players could withdraw up to €5,000 per week (weekdays only) and €15,000 per month. Exclusions could apply for promotions or VIP levels.

Avoid the trap

All deposits had to be wagered a minimum of three times prior to withdrawal, which is a tough ask. Always check a casino’s terms for similar stipulations if this is something you’d rather avoid.

Mobile and user experience

There wasn’t a NightRush mobile app, but the site was fully optimised for iOS and Android device browsers.

Customer support at NightRush

NightRush offered 24/7 customer support over live chat and email.

Users reported mixed feelings about customer service at NightRush. One user described agents as “kind and patient”. Another complained about the long wait before being connected to an agent, but conceded that they “can be friendly when you do reach them”.

For simpler enquiries, players could consult the FAQ section in the footer.

Responsible gambling tools

NightRush offered the following responsible gambling resources:

  • Deposit limits: Set how much you can deposit in a period of time

  • Betting limits: Cuts you off once you've bet a certain amount

  • Loss limits: Limits how much you can lose in a set period of time

  • Session limits: Caps the amount of time you can spend on a game

  • Cooling-off periods: A break of a week, a month, three months or six months

  • Self-exclusion: Restricts your account for between 6–12 months or an indefinite period

  • Help resources: Links to external support resources and blocking software

  • Reality checks: Notification reminders regarding how much you’ve spent and how quickly

Upon opening an account, users were prompted to set a monthly deposit limit of up to €1,000 per month.

All of the above demonstrate a commitment to responsible gambling that we’d expect from all casinos with a strong reputation for safety.
