Founded in 1999, CasinoLuck was owned by Sharp Connection Ltd and operated by Aspire Global International LTD. It was known for being one of the longest-serving online casinos in the UK market. CasinoLuck was a trusted, beginner-friendly online casino that began its journey before the turn of the millennium. In the following decades, it evolved its game library, cashier system and support services to suit changing demands.

There were a few areas in which the operator fell short of modern standards. By the time it closed, many customers expected 24-hour live chat, crypto support and a mobile app, which CasinoLuck failed to provide.

After over 25 years of service, CasinoLuck ceased its UK operations on the 26th of February 2026.

Did Casinoluck Offer a Welcome Bonus?

CasinoLuck offered a variety of welcome bonuses throughout its years in operation.

UK players could claim a 100% deposit match bonus up to £77 and 77 free spins. No promo code was required to unlock the bonus funds, which could be played on slots.

This was a fairly underwhelming offer compared to other casino bonuses. Many UK casinos cap the match limit higher and offer more free spins.

What Were the Terms & Conditions of This Bonus?

The CasinoLuck welcome bonus was subject to 25x wagering requirements; a fairly standard figure for UK casinos. New players had to make a first deposit of £10 or more to qualify.

Free spins would be credited on Book of Dead and would only be valid for 24 hours from receipt. CasinoLuck often capped free spins winnings at £100, which seemed unnecessarily restrictive.

Then and now

35x wagering requirements were considered the industry standard for most of CasinoLuck’s 25-year run. However, new UKGC regulations mean that casinos are not allowed to implement wagering requirements higher than 10x since January 2026.

Other Bonuses That Were Offered

Users could find a variety of offers under the ‘Promotions’ tab. These included daily bonuses, cashback offers and no deposit bonuses.

CasinoLuck’s loyalty programme was generally considered to be competitive. Every €40 wagered would earn players one point. Collecting enough points would boost players through the seven levels to unlock perks such as birthday bonuses, exclusive promotions and cashback rewards.

Not all bonuses could be claimed on iOS devices.

How Safe & Trustworthy Was Casinoluck?

Aspire Global is the trading name of AG Communications Limited, which is subject to the United Kingdom Gambling Commission (UKGC) licence number 39483. CasinoLuck operated under the remote casino licence 039483-R-319409-018.

The UKGC licence holds a strong reputation for safety thanks to its commitment to consumer protection and strict regulatory oversight.

The commission took regulatory action against the operator in February 2025 due to a failure to comply with multiple conditions of its licence. This included Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF) and Social Responsibility (SR) violations. AG Communications Limited reached a settlement with the UKGC and the operator retained its licence.

CasinoLuck remains licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) to operate in other territories. Holding a licence from a second highly respected iGaming authority demonstrates this operator’s consistent commitment to consumer safety.

Safety and Security

CasinoLuck’s site was secured with TLS 1.2 and 1.3, which are recommended by the IETF. Deprecated TLS and SSL protocol versions were disabled, which helped further protect user data from attacks.

KYC and Withdrawals

The UKGC requires licensees to carry out Know Your Customer (KYC) checks on all players. This is to make sure that criminals aren’t using online casinos to launder money or finance terrorism.

The operator reserved the right to request four types of documentation:

  • Proof of address: Utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 3 months, or letter from a public authority or servant

  • Proof of payment methods: Payment cards, screenshot of e-wallet account, bank statement showing deposit made to the operator

  • Source of funds/wealth: Financial statements, bank statements

  • Proof of income: Payslips, most recent tax return, proof of inheritance income, etc.

CasinoLuck aimed to process all KYC documents in 24 to 48 hours. The process was occasionally delayed due to high volumes of requests.

What Other Players & Reviewers Said

CasinoLuck received mixed reviews from players. Common complaints included limited live chat hours and withdrawal issues. Here’s what two players had to say about their experience at this casino:

“Nice looking site with large variety of games. Deposits and withdrawals works smoothly. They have a fair 35x bonus wagering... Agents are kind and professionnal.

“Slow withdraw they say 24hours but more like 48 hours and that's only the approved stage, they don't send email confirming withdraw only one if you reverse it.”

Games at CasinoLuck

CasinoLuck’s game library was frequently updated with new titles to keep the platform feeling fresh. Some of the last games to be added to the library included Piggy Blitz Casino Gold, Zeus vs Hades: Gods of War 250, Mummy It Up and Happy Money Hens.

Table game fans could choose from a variety of RNG-governed and live variants of blackjack, baccarat, roulette, craps and sic bo titles.

Players looking for high-volatility games could choose between popular progressive jackpot slots such as Hall of Gods, Gunslinger, Geisha Wonders and Arabian Nights.

Game Providers

CasinoLuck’s game library of over 2,000 games was powered by fan-favourite providers such as Play’n GO, Hacksaw Gaming, NetEnt, Games Global and Inspired Gaming.

RTP Transparency

Return To Player (RTP) can typically be found by clicking the information (i) button in the demo or real-money version of a game. CasinoLuck stated that its average RTP across the site was 96%.

Available Payment Methods

CasinoLuck supported a variety of popular payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard and PaysafeCard. It kept up with changing demands by adding support for e-wallets like Neteller and Skrill in later years.

In retrospect

Casinoluck’s lengthy processing period was one of its major drawbacks. Most modern casinos are able to process KYC documents within 24 hours.

Mobile & User Experience

While CasinoLuck didn’t offer a dedicated casino app, the site was fully optimised for handheld devices.

The website was modern and easy to navigate thanks to its excellent page organisation tools. Each game’s page contained a detailed beginner's guide, recommendations and a game-specific FAQ.

Customer Support at CasinoLuck

CasinoLuck offered customer support over three channels: email, online form and live chat.

Many players expressed dissatisfaction that CasinoLuck’s live chat was not open 24/7.

We appreciated CasinoLuck’s commitment to offering live chat services in every language that the site supported (English, German, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish), and think more new UK casinos should do this too.

Reviews indicate that while customer support was friendly, it could sometimes take a while to get a response.

Responsible Gambling Tools

CasinoLuck offered the following tools to help players stay in control of their gambling:

  • Deposit limit: Caps how much you can deposit per day, week or month.

  • Play limit: Logs you out after your session has reached a certain length.

  • Time-out: Restricts you from your account for a day, a week, a month or six weeks.

  • Self-exclusion: Close your account for six months, a year, two years or five years.

  • Reality checks: Notifications reminding you of your session’s duration.

The ‘Responsible Gaming’ page in the site’s footer contained links to external resources, including Gamblers Anonymous, GAMSTOP, BetBlocker and Cyber Patrol.
