We start by checking the casino’s licence details. There are multiple regulatory options for licensed online casinos and Wazamba appears to have tried multiple. Wazamba is owned by Liernin Enterprises Ltd, which is licensed by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). Wazamba is also licensed by the Anjouan Gaming Authority under operators Stellar Ltd, but this certificate only shows in the footer for players in certain countries, like New Zealand.

This casino’s former owners Rabidi N.V were licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA), but this licence was revoked in June 2024. Wazamba doesn’t provide clear information on the website. We contacted customer support to clarify, but our email didn’t get a reply and the live chat agent told us: 

“the Company makes no representations or warranties as to the legality of your use of the Site, including without limitation if gambling is prohibited, regulated or unregulated in your jurisdiction”.

This is below what we expect from licensed casinos and while the lack of information isn’t necessarily a bad sign, including it and providing proof of licensing rights shows players that their safety and security are taken seriously.

We read terms and conditions thoroughly and often refer back during our review. The Wazamba T&Cs are broken down into manageable sections, making them easy to read. We found them generally easy to understand except for a few points that are vague or missing information.

The T&Cs state a maximum withdrawal limit of €20,000 per month with your current limit shown in your account. We found that a new player initially has a withdrawal limit of €7,000 per month, significantly less than stated. There is no further information in the T&Cs or in the account profile to explain how an individual’s withdrawal limit is calculated.

It was a similar pattern when checking the responsible gambling section. Wazamba has a ‘Responsible Gaming’ page that’s easy to access from the footer, with information presented in digestible sections. However, it’s not as in-depth as we’d like and we couldn’t find any responsible gambling account tools. We’ll come back to this section in more detail further in the review.
