The OK state laws don’t permit or forbid online gambling. It’s a grey area so in this case, we’d advise residents not to try. There might be plenty of online gambling sites based out of Oklahoma, but it’s not worth the risk. 

Though things are looking up when it comes to sports betting, as agreements have been made between the state government and tribes. So sports betting is technically legal in Oklahoma -  it just hasn’t launched yet. 

In 2016 the Oklahoma government agreed for the Iowa Tribe to offer three card online poker. But this fell at the development stages and the site exists for free play only at the moment. No other tribe has since made such progress within OK and the Senate has also recently agreed not to allow the expansion of any land-based casinos. Meaning that the likelihood of legislating online casinos isn’t looking positive.

Minimum Legal age to Gamble in Oklahoma

Residents in the sooner-state can participate in the lottery at age 16. Whilst the minimum legal age for playing inside a tribal casino or placing sports bets (horse racing) is 18.

The gambling market is governed by a handful of regulators, which is quite unusual. State-regulated activities are covered by the Oklahoma Office for State Finance and OSF Games Compliance Unit.
