NetEnt and Codere in MexicoTop developer, NetEnt has always made it very clear that one of the essential parts of their growth strategy includes expanding into regulated jurisdictions. The Swedish developer and supplier of digital casino solutions announced earlier this week that they will introduce their offering in the Latin American region.

Their products and games will be available to the Latin American region through an extension of their existing agreement with Codere, a Spanish gambling operator. Codere is known as one of the leading gambling operators in Mexico and operates both land-based and digital industry segments.

“Thanks to Codere’s license, their partner, NetEnt, will be able to go live in Mexico.”

Mexican casino market

The Mexican regulated online gaming market is the first of the Latin American region to launch NetEnt's casino games and solutions. The Mexican iGaming market and markets in other Latin American jurisdictions has gained the interest of many major international gambling operators and service providers due to it being extremely lucrative.

NetEnt America’s LLC Managing Director, Björn Krantz, expressed the company’s excitement of going live with partner, Codere. Krantz also mentioned that the agreement is largely responsible for NetEnt finally reaching the milestone of entering the Latin American online gambling market.

Krantz is confident that NetEnt will support and enhance Codere’s growth in Mexico’s online casino segment and that local players will experience top class entertainment with their offering.

Codere and NetEnt

The content distribution partnership between Codere and NetEnt started in 2015 when NetEnt was looking for a way to enter the Spanish regulated market. Codere’s reach is not limited to the Latin American regulated jurisdictions and expands to Italy. The operator is known as a leading gambling operator in both Mexico and Italy. The partnership offers both companies a boost and a chance to expand their reach and increase their growth.

NetEnt announced their launch in Mexico shortly after the release of their Christmas themed game, Secrets of Christmas.
