NetEnt throughout 2015Net Entertainment, the Swedish casino games developer, may be one of the most well-known and ever-growing casino brands around. Throughout the year, NetEnt has launched new partnerships with equally as successful companies and created exciting new B2B products. Not to mention the numerous popular casino games they launched in 2015.

With record increases in both revenue and profits in 2015, it’s safe to say that NetEnt intends to keep up this momentum. NetEnt has released their financial records for the year and are reporting a revenue of SEK809.3 million and profit after tax equalling SEK258.3 million.

These staggering sums prove that NetEnt’s expansion into the US and signing partnerships with more than 30 different companies are all working.

What exactly has NetEnt been up to in 2015? It seems that each month held something new for the casino gaming giant. Let’s take a look at NetEnt’s rise throughout the year.

January – After a partnership was formed with GameAccount Network in 2014, NetEnt’s most popular titles were released into the Italian gambling market with SNAI and Sisal.

February – Full Tilt relaunched in February of 2015 and NetEnt used this opportunity to share their titles with this audience. Despite being predominantly poker focused, Full Tilt now offers NetEnt’s titles in many European countries.

March – Expanding throughout Europe continued in March as NetEnt announced three partnerships. The first of these partnerships is with UK-based gaming company Gamesys, the second with Danske Spil (which is owned by the Danish government) and the third with Spanish operator CODERE.

April – NetEnt was granted the software and operating licenses by the UK Gambling Commission allowing them to expand even further throughout Europe. This marked a huge boost for NetEnt as they are now able to provide UK gambling operators with their sought-after products.

May – With no sign of slowing down, NetEnt jumped from one continent to the next as it signed a cross-license agreement with IGT. This partnership opened up many avenues across North America and the US as a whole.

June – Spain opened its doors even further for NetEnt halfway through 2015. Three Spanish gambling operators signed agreements with the Swedish developer including 888, Premiere Megaplex, and Paf. NetEnt also signed agreements for the provision of multi-channel casino games in New Jersey.

July – Not a month goes by without NetEnt being on the move. In July a major partnership was formed with Gala Coral, one of the largest UK-based gambling operators.

August – Further expansion into the New Jersey market was achieved in August when NetEnt came to an agreement with Golden Nugget. While still waiting for transactional waivers from the state Division of Gaming Enforcement, NetEnt was not yet able to launch its games in New Jersey.

September – After much waiting, NetEnt received the first of its much needed transactional waivers and launched a selection of games with the Borgata and brands.

October – Resorts Casino was next on NetEnt’s list as they signed an agreement to provide their casino content both on mobile and desktop in New Jersey.

November – A large selection of games was launched with TropicanaCasino and VirginCasino, both of whom are managed by Gamesys US. The partnership with these casino means that even more New Jersey customers can now access NetEnt’s content.

December – Rounding off the year with even more good news for New Jersey punters, NetEnt announced that their casino titles would be available on Caesars Interactive Live and Golden Nugget’s online brands.

We can’t wait to see what this casino giant gets up to in 2016, but we’re sure it will only be onwards and upwards for Net Entertainment.
