Any online casino worth its salt will do two things whenever they have the chance – create the most entertaining gaming experience possible for their players and expand to new territories.

Having been in the industry for many years, it’s safe to say that Mr Green Casino is comfortable in doing both of these things.

Making the move into Latvia

Mr Green, owned by William Hill, recently announced that they would be launching the brand in Latvia after signing an agreement with GiG.

GiG, or the Gaming Innovation Group, will provide its software platform for Mr Green in Latvia. The agreement is based on a revenue share deal that will have GiG supply their online casino, sportsbook, and frontend services.

Janis Tregers, CEO of Mr Green Latvia, commented on the upcoming move: "This is an exciting moment for the William Hill Group business in Latvia, where we move forward with our strategy to introduce a global brand such as Mr Green to the market.”

“We see it as the perfect complement to the locally well-established 11.lv brand, also hosted on the GiG platform. By working closely with GiG and leveraging their technology from product, compliance and other aspects, we have been able to propel 11.lv to second position among leading brands in the market. It is now time to make Mr Green a similar success," said Tregers.

Without the agreement with GiG, this move by Mr Green would not be possible. Set to go live in the second quarter of 2020, this deal will make a small contribution to GiG’s revenue in 2020, but profits are set to increate in 2021.

Richard Brown, GiG CEO, said: "I am pleased to announce this expansion of our collaboration and partnership with Mr Green. Latvia is an interesting market for online gambling; we are looking forward to supporting Mr Green’s growth with a strong, safe and entertaining product."
