News iGaming Idol PromoIt was recently announced that the Malta Gaming Authority will be one of the top supporters of iGaming Idol 2018.

This comes as no surprise seeing as the MGA has supported this event since it was launched back in 2016.

More about iGaming Idol

The iGaming Idol is an annual competition hosted to recognise top talent in the iGaming industry across the Maltese islands. The iGaming idol is based on three pillars namely Recognition of Individuals, Charity and Entertainment.

Part of what makes these awards so unique is that it’s the first award show in the iGaming industry that focuses on recognising individuals rather than companies or projects. And with categories covering most of the online gaming operation it truly is an event worth attending and supporting.

The awards show also requires that nominees prove themselves in front of a judge’s panel to show that they truly deserve to be named to winner of the award.

On the confirmation of the sponsorship the MGA Executive Chairman Joseph Cuschieri said that they look forward in supporting iGaming Idol in its third edition in September 2018. Cuschieri also described the event as innovative and praised it for not just recognizing the talented individuals in the industry but also for promoting the welfare of employees in the iGaming sector.

The event attendance of last year was double what it was in its first year and only speaks of promise and big things to come with the third edition taking place in September 2018.
