When we play in our favourite casinos, we exchange our real money for chips. And whilst these tokens might feel plastic, they are still considered a form of currency. This makes the chips attractive to criminals who still try to produce counterfeits. Amazingly enough, casino croupiers often state that it’s an easier task to make fake money than chips these days. But what do you look for when you are playing? What do you do if you find a bunch of casino chips? In this article, we will give you the full lowdown on how to protect yourself and what the casinos do to keep you safe. We’ll also let you know how counterfeiting criminals are dealt with in the USA.Read more
The Best Vegas Casinos to Play Blackjack
You can bet on anything in Vegas but if Blackjack is your go-to then how do you know which casino will give you the best experience? We’re not just talking about glamour or luxury surroundings. We’re also looking at value for money, competitive house edges, great odds, and bets to suit all budgets.
If you’re planning your next vacay to Sin City then we’ve saved you the time and hassle of finding the best Vegas casino for Blackjack. We’ve included a selection of the top 7 places on The Strip where you could ‘beat the dealer’.
1) Treasure Island
This gem isn’t an obvious choice for many visitors, but it comes in at number 1 in our best Blackjack Vegas casino list. There are a few reasons for this, the most notable is the low house edge which is 0.19%. The second is the low minimum bet limit of just $25 which is set on 3 out of 28 Blackjack tables.
These tables award a payout of 3:2 with a double-deck system. This reduces the card count to 104, which is better than a possible 312 or 416 from a 6 or 8 deck.
If you’ve hit the casinos with a smaller budget then head to Treasure Island. The rule which sees the Dealer Stand on Soft 17 instead of taking a Hit reduces the games house edge by 0.20%. Couple this with a $25 minimum bet and you will see your budget last longer with a good chance of winning.
There are other casinos with a lower house edge but these require players to bet far more than $25 a hand. If you prefer placing even smaller wagers then there are plenty of $5 minimum stakes Blackjack tables with the 3:2 payouts and a house edge of 0.46%.
2) Bellagio Hotel & Casino
Film buffs will already be familiar with this majestic casino which was predominantly used in the Oceans 11 movie. It’s infamous for its ‘Fountains of Bellagio’ and boasts a 5 diamond award-winning casino.
It comes highly recommended for Blackjack, with 14 tables offering 3:2 payouts and a house edge of just 0.19% with minimum bets starting at $100.
3) Circus Circus
This Vegas casino claims to be the only truly family-friendly resort in the city. This also means that you’ll encounter plenty of children in the vicinity, unfortunately. Escaping into the adult-only casino will see 29 Blackjack tables at your disposal, each with the Hit Soft 17 rule.
There’s no maximum bet limit but the minimum starts at just $5. The average house edge is 0.40% and every game uses the double-deck.
4) ARIA Resort & Casino
Famous for hosting the Cirque du Soleil, this City Centre resort makes it into our best Vegas casinos for Blackjack due to its 0.19% house edge. It offers a VIP experience and with that comes a higher minimum bet limit of $100.
There are a total of 18 Blackjack games and they each offer 3:2 payouts. 3 of these tables use the Soft 17 Dealer Stand rule, along with a double card deck.
Many local regulars to The Strip swear that the ‘Trop’ is the best Vegas casino for Blackjack. The place has won many awards over the years for its hotel, casino, and entertainment services.
There are many Blackjack tables to take your pick from with house edges ranging from 0.26-0.35%. Whilst this is of course higher than the other casinos that we've mentioned, the Tropicana permits bets of just $50 on four of its tables.
6) Caesars Palace
We had to mention this casino, steeped in history and owned by the biggest gambling company in the USA. There are almost 200 tables with 25 of these being designated to Blackjack with 3:2 payouts.
Pay and play with just $10 a hand, but this comes with a steep house edge of 0.54%. You can face a reduced edge of 0.26% on 7 Blackjack tables with a minimum stake of $100.
7) Wynn Las Vegas
With a gambling arena stretching 186,000 square feet -The Wynn is the largest casino in Vegas. And offers players the ultimate in luxury! It also slips into our list of best Blackjack casinos due to its selection of 19 of 3:2 tables.
Like with other casinos though- the lower the minimum bet, the higher the house edge. And the Wynns games range from 7 x $100 0.26% tables to 0.40% and upwards.

The Best Downtown Vegas Casino for Blackjack
If you want to venture away from the main drag of Vegas then there’s a pleasant surprise to be found in the oldest casino in the city.
El Cortez might not offer the same level of glamour as the casinos in our list above, but it packs a punch with its lowest house edge of 0.3%. With single decks and two deck tables, the casino caters for all kinds of bankrolls with low minimum bets of just $5.
