Online gambling set to reach $1 trillionMany gamblers are switching to online versions of casino favourites because of the comfort, safety, and smooth gameplay. This has allowed online gambling to make a steady move to online outlets thanks to the popularity of mobile gambling which is still on the rise.

“The latest report released by Juniper last week has suggested that online gambling can be expected to gain a massive increase across the world in the next couple of years.”

According to statistics the industry is worth about $550 billion this year and it is expected to gain a worth of $950 billion per year by 2021. This will put the industry on the same level as totals spent on all digital services and goods which according to them could possibly hit $1 trillion in 2021.

Although the practise is still banned by many governments, more countries are providing legislation that covers online gambling to open it up to their populations. Mobile gaming continues to grow as more people become familiar with the perks and rewards of playing online. Mobile gambling allows players to enjoy their favourite online casino games on the move without having to travel or wait until they are home.

The fact that countries are beginning to see the asset mobile gaming and online casinos can become to them financially is also helping the cause and adding to the growth.
