NetEntThanks to the recent agreement between Net Entertainment and IGT, North American punters will soon be able to experience the very best that NetEnt has to offer.

The patent cross-licensing deal with IGT will allow Net Entertainment to enter the lucrative North America gambling market that many companies find difficult to break in to. It will also allow fans of Net Entertainment to experience the wide range of IGT's games.

Matteo Monteverdi, Senior Vice President of Global Product Marketing, Interactive, IGT commented on the recent agreement saying, “We are very pleased to reach an agreement to provide NetEnt with IGT’s best-in-class portfolio of game feature patents. Working in partnership with NetEnt enables us to further validate our significant IP portfolio.”

IGT holds the proprietary rights for the largest portfolio of slot games and has the longest list of patents related to slot features in North America.

This contract will see the expansion of IGT's intellectual property (IP) portfolio by working with the expertise that Net Entertainment has to offer as one of the largest providers of quality online gaming content in the world.

The Managing Director of NetEnt Americas LLC, Björn Krantz, commented saying, “IGT is a key partner for NetEnt in its expansion into North America, and we are really pleased that we’ll have access to all of IGT’s game feature patents for our North American multichannel games offering.”
