Net Entertainment - better known as NetEnt - has reported record breaking profits for 2013, with revenue topping an incredible $97.9 million.

Executives with Net Entertainment, a Sweden-based Internet gaming developer, have reported that 2013 brought a total of 27 licensing agreements for its games and they were associated with the launch of 20 new online casinos.

Established in 1996, Net Entertainment is among the world's premiere online casino game makers. Net Entertainment casinos are especially known for their wide variety of games with cutting-edge graphics, sound effects and all-around engaging qualities. They're also known for their blackjack games, which are among the developer's many specialties.

This tremendous success has been the result of the ever-growing mobile casino trend, with more and more gamblers opting to bet via mobile devices such as Android smartphones, iPhones and tablets.

“One of the company's most successful efforts has been casino games through mobile units. Net Entertainment has won several prizes and received great appreciation from the company's customers and is known as one of the world's most prominent supplies within this segment,” explained Net Entertainment CEO Per Eriksson.

It's possible that even more Net Entertainment casinos will arise in the coming months, as an increasing number of nations opt to enter the world of regulated online gambling.
