Responsible Gambling Trust at ICEThe leading charity for safe casino gaming in the United Kingdom, the Responsible Gambling Trust (or RGT), will soon be featured at the ICE.

The ICE Totally Gaming aims to bring together the online and offline gambling worlds. The exhibition brings to light the innovations throughout the different sectors including casino, betting, lottery, and many others. ICE also works to reveal which areas in the gambling industry are growing and how they are doing so. It is said that the ICE “shows the gambling industry at its very best.”

Making gambling safe

The Responsible Gambling Trust is one of the most well-known charities in the UK and the work they do is extremely important. In an attempt to minimise the harm that online gambling can cause, the RGT works tirelessly to research treatment. One of the main focuses is of course how to prevent any harm from taking place at all.

RGT will be using the ICE 2016 exhibition taking place in London’s Excel Centre as a way to showcase the research that has been done. The charity will use the exhibition to release its annual report as well as launch the GambleAware brand on a large scale.

The Chief Executive of Responsible Gambling Trust has stated that the ICE showcase will be “an invaluable opportunity”. The charity has an ambitious programme to raise their profile over the next few years. One of the main aims is to remind large gambling industry leaders the importance of continuing to support their work.

Raising money

If each gambling operator works to support RGT by honouring a contribution rate of 0.1%, the earnings should be approximately £9 million per year.
